I am a versatile concept-driven designer, typographer and illustrator with over 20 years industry experience. I have been freelancing for the past 6 years and have enjoyed the variety and flexibility that brings. I have worked at many top agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, Mother, Adam&Eve, VCCP, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, Ogilvy, Engine, BMB and Wonderhood amongst others. During this time I have worked across ATL, BTL, integrated, branding and digital. I have handled teams and projects to Design Director level, helping to create well-executed campaigns for an extensive portfolio of well known clients.

I have previously worked at Campbell Doyle Dye (junior designer 4 years), SHOP (senior designer 2.5 years), Freud Communications (senior designer 4.5 years), Mercieca (senior designer 2 years), Atelier (design director 1.5 years) and Leo Burnett (senior designer/design director 2 years).

Although originally educated as a fine artist, being brought up surrounded by type specimen books and an old letterpress print shop eventually had a sharper influence. It seemed inevitable my work would develop a distinct typographic leaning and so it proved. An interest in printing, art and design alongside the beauty and craft of typography permeates life outside of work. In addition to this however I have a love of cinema, long-distance running and football (sadly watching more than playing these days). I also collect design books, posters, and vintage toys as well as spending most of my time drawing and building Lego with my two young children.
